Diego Dalla Palma: Review, Pics, Swatches *

Diego Dalla Palma is a brand worth getting excited about! I was recently given two of their products to review and I am totally hooked! This Italian brand is sold in Marks & Spencers, but could easily be sold in the top end department stores – this is a seriously high quality brand. I received a lipstick and mascara to review:

‘The Lipstick’ in 31, €20

First off – the packaging is really, really nice. It looks high end, sleek and simple. Next, on to the colour – I love the deep red, which is definitely a strong colour, but it isn’t too deep either! I personally love this colour, it gets a huge thumbs up. I sometimes find with red lipsticks that after the second application the lipstick starts becoming very gritty, but that definitely didn’t happen with this. As well as that, red lipsticks normally need a large amount of observation and regular reapplication – again I have to say this lipstick never once began to fade. I will be heading straight to M&S to see what other colours they have in their lipstick range!

‘Mascaragogo’ in 91, €23

I don’t often stray from my beloved Benefit They’re Real mascara, but I have to say I was impressed by this mascara. I don’t usually like mascara’s which have a big thick brush, but this mascara was easily applied, gave immediate definition to my lashes and did increase volume a little bit. I’m actaully about to throw out my current batch of mascara’s so I think this will be my go to mascara for the next few months! So far I really like it!

If your interested in trying some Diego Dalla Palma products for yourself head to your nearest M&S!
