#JuneBBC Day 23: What’s My Face Worth?

I have decided to take part in #JuneBBC: June Beauty Blog Challenge. The idea is that you write a beauty themed post everyday for the month of June! Today’s theme is ‘What’s My Face Worth’

What is my face worth? I didn’t really understand what this was about, but a quick read of other #JuneBBC bloggers shows that you talk about your daily makeup routine and tot up how much your daily makeup costs! Before I start, I can’t remember the exact price I paid for these product so most if these prices are estimates!

I always start with my foundation Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC15, which I apply with a Real Techniques Pointed Foundation brush (from Real Techniques Face Set) or a Mac Duo Fibre brush. I follow this by setting my foundation with Rimmel Translucent Powder applied with the Real Techniques Buffing brush (from Real Techniques Face Set). Next comes bronzer, I apply Isa Dora Bronzer in Glittering Tan with The Body Shop Face & Body Brush. Following this I contour using Rimmel Natural Bronzer and Real Techniques Contour brush (from Real Techniques Face Set). Finally I apply highlighter and blusher – depending on the look I am trying to achieve. In general I apply Benefit High Beam highlighter and finish with Mac Blusher in Dollymix or Dainty using Real Techniques Bronzer brush.

Mac Studio Fix Fluid: €32

Real Techniques Face Set: €28

Rimmel Translucent Powder: €7

Isa Dora Bronzer: €25

The Body Shop Face & Body Brush: €25

Rimmel Natural Bronzer: €7

Benefit High Beam: €20

Mac Blusher: €18

Face Total: €162

Next I do my eyes and brows. For my brows I use an Inglot or Urban Decay eyeshadow (after my HD Palette disaster!) and fill them in using the Real Techniques Eyebrow Brush (from Real Techniques Essential Eye Set). I’m pretty lazy with my everyday eye makeup these days, and usually just use the Urban Decay Smoked palette and simply smudge dark shadow on my upper and lower lash line using a Sephora Smudging brush (from a Sephora Eye Brush Kit). I finish with a generous helping of Benefit They’re Real.

Urban Decay Smoked Palette: €40

Real Techniques Essential Eye Set: €28

Sephora Travel Eye Brush Set: €30

Benefit They’re Real: €25

Eye Total: €123

I nearly always finish with a statement lipstick – red, pink, nude, burnt orange. The products I use vary from Barry M all the way up to Mac, but mostly Mac!

Mac Lipstick: €20

Lip Total: €20

So – how much is my face worth??? €305!!!!! Wow, I walk around with over €300 worth of product on my face every day!! I would love to know how much your face is worth?

Stay Glamorous! Xxx
